My name is Amanda Penland. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart Tony for going on 15 years now. We have 5 great kids Dawn 14, Dean 13, Beth 11, Tyler 7, Jessi Lynn 3. Dawn and Beth are academically gifted and Tyler has dyslexia. I rededicated my life to the Lord in December of 2001. I don't homeschool my kids. But, I do all I can to find ways for my kids to have fun while learning. I love being a stay at home mom. I enjoy learning about things. Especially when it comes to the Lord and the Bible. My hobbies include trying new recipes with my girls, dancing as a family, fishing, camping, going to the beach, crocheting, reading christian books, doing random online research, and raising our chickens. One of my favorite things to do is help others. The Lord gave me hands to work with so I'm gonna use them to glorify him. The Lord blessed me with the ability to sing. So you might find me doing my normal tasks singing. I enjoy drawing some and making graphics. Biggest pet peeves for me are liars and fake people.
