Merry Heart

(My kids L to R Beth, Jessi, Dawn, Tyler, and Dean)

I apologize for my MIA but lots of thinking and prayer had to happen before I could get back on track.

I got to thinking about how as a family we do lots of things to keep happy. We're all the time pulling jokes on each other. Like this Christmas I'm planning on wrapping up one of my husbands gifts into different boxes, wrapping papers and even duct tape :-D

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Have you ever been sick or sad and something made you laugh hard? Its hard to feel bad when your happy. Laughter truly is the best medicine. I challenge you to keep a straight face watching these 2 videos :)  Enjoy!!

Remember if someone don't have a smile you can always give them one of yours :)

May God Bless you on your journey.

Joy

DSCF0886

My daughter Beth made this snow girl to add to our Christmas decorations. As I sat there this morning posting this on facebook for our family to see I got to thinking about joy. All the joys in my life the Lord has blessed me with. My baby girl done most of the tree decorating last night. My husband and I sat there watching as each of them done there parts to decorate somehow. We don't tell them how or what to do they know we enjoy watching them. Yes with my baby girl putting most ornaments on the tree she didn't get hardly any in the back. That's ok my Lord gave me the Joy of not only watching them all but I get to enjoy seeing their work all month long. Moments like these money can't buy. Joy is not getting gifts, receiving money or spending it. Its those things in life big and small that make you smile.

John 15:10-12
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

You see we all can have lots of joy in our lives if we just look around us. God gave us all beautiful things to look at, fun things to do and so forth. It also brings joy to my heart to be a servant to a wonderful Savior.

I was listening to a song this morning that touched my heart I want to share it with you....

Did I Mention

Verse 1

David sang the praises of the glory of Jehovah
Paul preached that all is lost save knowin' Christ
Little John said he is precious by leaning on his bosom
So for a moment may I humbly testify.

Cho.

Did I mention that I love him, how I worship and adore him?
When I can see no way he makes a way
And did I mention he's been faithful to every promise he ever made me?
I love him that's all I want to say.

Verse 2

How many sermons can be preacdhed about this Jesus?
How many songs can be sung about God's Son?
There are not enough words enough notes in the music
To tell the story of all the Savior has done.

Cho.

Did I mention that I love him, how I worship and adore him?
When I can see no way he makes a way
And did I mention he's been faithful to every promise he ever made me?
I love him that's all I want to say.
