Can't Hide

 I came across some notes in my study bible this morning I just had to

dig a little deeper on. You see Proverbs 28:13 he that covereth his
sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall
have mercy.

Let’s look at the verse for a moment. This
makes me think of those time I lied in the past only to get so caught
up I would wind up telling more lies to hide the one i already made. I
wound up getting caught eventually and embarrassed. I made myself a
personal moto to tell the truth or keep my mouth shut. If you've read
the book the shunning you know how hiding things only makes things
worse.

 We are to confess our sins. Psalms 32:5 I
acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said
I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord: and thou forgavest the
iniquity of my sins.
