EWW that word makes you think of stacks of magazine that just dont seem to go away. My kids and I decided to clean out their toy box today. The poor thing was overflowing with toys. I did keep a few very special toys all 5 of the kids played with a rattle, bear Tony played with as a child even. Mementos are wonderful to have. But too much stuff can overwhelm you.

1 Corinthians 14:40   Let all things be done decently and in order.

Many have probably seen hoarders by now. I feel bad for them people. They hurt so bad they use hoarding as a way to cope. As I thought about all the stuff we accumulate over the years I thought about junk we clutter our lives with. Things that cause us a stress should be reduced or even eliminated. Some things we have to take steps to eliminate the stress from. You have probably read where I got angry when my daughter laid her peanut butter sandwich anywhere she felt like it and my husband makes me so mad I could scream at times. I learned to stop and pray a thank you Lord for (their name). I'll even kiss there cheek and walk off. After a few minutes I stop stressing about it.

Think about it the more cluttered our lives are the more stressed we become and who do you think likes that?

May God Bless you on your journey.

  1. Ahhh the clutter in our lives. I'm working on getting rid of the external and the internal. I think the external clutter is way easier to deal with though.

    1. For some its probably just as hard to get rid of external as it is the internal.
