Rebekah

Abraham asked his servant to find a bride for his son Isaac. This
woman had to be from his kin. You might know the story. Rebekah was
the woman. Abraham was her great uncle. She was a very beautiful
woman. She and Isaac married in his mother’s tent. They had twin boys
one named Esau some say after the Hebrew word for hair and he was just
that. Jacob was the other. As you all probably know the story of Jacob
and Esau. Genesis 25-50. Rebekah made a big mess of things. She
tricked her husband into thinking Jacob was Esau. It all ended well in
the end. But, just think about it for a moment. She didn’t think about
what God wanted or who it would hurt. She did wrong to those around
her. We just studied a few weeks ago about how a proverbs 31 woman
should be trusted by her husband. I will extend that and say In my
opinion I think we should be trusted by all.

Do you jump in and make decisions without thinking twice, searching the bible for answers or
asking God about it? To read more on Rebekah: go to, Genesis 24-27.

May God Bless you on your journey.
