As I have told you all before I hate making resolutions. I wind up exercising regularly for a week. Then, give up altogether. This year I thought of making biblical goals for myself with scripture reference.
Matthew 6: 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
I wrote down scriptures that I want to personally work on and I came up with this:
-
Put God
first in everything. Matthew 6:33
-
Study his
word and teach it. Deuteronomy 11:18-23
-
Continue
to find ways to be a better homemaker. Prov 31
-
Train our
kids the way they should go. Proverbs 22:6 & Titus 2
-
To
continue to let God correct me. John 15: 2 & Romans 12:2
-
Be an
example for others. 1 Timothy 4:12
-
Think
positive when things aren't going the way I like. Philippians 4:6,8
& Proverbs 17:22
-
Be
content. Philippians 4:11
Psalms 119:105 says "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
